It is alwys fantastic to hear from people who remember Dad – we may even have met as I was occasionally taken to school with Dad in the ‘Silver Cortina Years’ and allowed to make a mess while he was teaching! Happy Days.
I was one of your dad’s pupils at Watford Tech from 1970 – 1976 or thereabouts (the silver Cortina years).and seeing this brings the memory of his use of perspective and space (spaceshapes he used to call it) flooding back. My ability was average and certainly no shining star, however he stood firm in his belief that we could all do it if we tried. Which must’ve been true, as out of the blue I pulled off a CGE grade A!
