More sketches and watercolours

I have just spent some time out relaxing and enjoying looking through another of Dad’s art folders  Full of tiny treasures and sparking some wonderful memories.  I have added many of them to the various sections and hope you will enjoy looking at them.  They are really inspirational and make me want to get out and sketch,,,,,,although I can only dream about being as good as Dad!!  Still, the beauty of art is the joy it gives to those who try it out I guess!!

  1. Your father was my art teacher at WTHS, later Bushey Hall School. My mum found your page and sent me the link. I am incredibly moved, and delighgted to read your page:

Your Dad inspired and shaped my creativity, and heavily influenced my style.
Looking through his works today (paradoxically in Libya, where I fly almost every week into Egypt) I sense the creative DNA in my own work.

    It is truly uncanny.

    Your dad is well remembered.
I often refer to him as being my tutor and greatest influence.
Until today, I only knew the little pieces of information that he passed on in conversation.

This is truly magical, thank you so much for creating this page.

    kind regards

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words. If this page has allowed someone to have happy memories and I also have lovely comments about my wonderful dad then I am very happy! Dad was an inspiration to me also and I am humbled by the amazing things people that I have never met have said about him.

      Best Wishes
