Dad loved making beautiful things as well as drawing and painting them.  He made many trophies and plaques for schools and the council in the Watford area.  I remember his one really big commission was to make the Player of the Year Trophy for Watford Football Club.   It was silver and bore his personal hallmark GW.  We were the first to hold it aloft – another cherished memory.
